These rules are intended to maintain order and ensure a safe living environment in the dormitory.
Please review the information below regarding eviction, penalty points, merit points, and permitted items.

Eviction
βͺ Eviction (No Readmission)
- Committing or assisting in illegal acts such as theft, arson, assault (threats), sexual harassment, gambling, or illegal filming.
- Having another person move into the dormitory on oneβs behalf (including providing oneβs name), or transferring or receiving an assigned room.
- Entering an opposite-sex dormitory or allowing a person of the opposite sex to enter.
- Tampering with or leaving an entrance door open without authorization, or assisting another person in doing so.
βͺ Eviction (No Admission for 1 Year)
- Changing the assigned room without permission (including providing an access card or key to another person).
- Allowing an outsider to enter the dormitory without permission, or entering without permission (including residents of other dormitories).
βͺ Eviction (No Admission for the Following Semester)
- Intentionally damaging dormitory facilities or equipment (compensation for damages required).
- Receiving disciplinary action of suspension or a more severe penalty under Article 99 of the University Regulations.
- Using or bringing flammable or hazardous materials into the dormitory.
- Organizing an unauthorized gathering or event (5 penalty points for participants).
βͺ Eviction
- Having a legally designated infectious disease or being a carrier of such a disease.
βͺ No Admission for the Following Semester
- Failing to complete the required room inspection when moving out.

Penalty Points
βͺ -8 Points
- Being absent from a regular room inspection (without prior notice), interfering with a regular room inspection, or assisting another person in doing so.
- Bringing alcoholic beverages into the dormitory (including empty bottles) or consuming alcohol.
βͺ -5 Points
- Failing to comply with reasonable requests or instructions from dormitory staff, or engaging in disrespectful behavior.
- Transferring or lending an access card issued in another person's name.
- Engaging in conduct that damages the reputation of the dormitory (e.g., distributing false information, defamation, using inappropriate language on children's playgrounds, smoking on dormitory grounds, or causing disturbances).
- Gambling (including playing Go).
- Failing to return issued items (such as keys or access cards) or returning them on behalf of another person.
βͺ -3 Points
- Bringing in or using items other than those permitted.
- Unauthorized modification or relocation of dormitory equipment or facilities (including disassembling or reassembling wireless shared devices).
- Being absent from a regular room inspection (with prior notice) or returning for reinspection after being absent.
- Being absent from dormitory orientation or fire safety training (excluding students participating in classes or academic schedules).
- Failing to properly separate waste for recycling, or keeping the room in an unsanitary condition (including rooms shared by multiple residents).
βͺ Subject to Separate Review
- Engaging in other conduct deemed inappropriate for maintaining a communal living environment.
- Engaging in other conduct deemed subject to penalty points under dormitory regulations.

Penalty Point Guidelines & Disciplinary Measures
βͺ Guidelines
- Penalty points are managed on a semester basis.
- Dormitory closing hours: 01:00β05:00
- During roll call, entry and exit are not permitted during closing hours (23:00β05:00).
βͺ Disciplinary Measures
- Eviction upon accumulating 10 or more penalty points.
- No readmission to the dormitory.
- No admission for 1 year.
- No admission for the following semester.
- If multiple violations occur, only the penalty points for the most serious violation will be imposed.

Merit Points
βͺ +5 Points
- Taking appropriate action in an emergency situation (e.g., fire or safety accident).
- Contributing to the reputation and honor of the University or dormitory.
βͺ +3 Points
- Actively participating in dormitory-sponsored events or training programs.
βͺ +2 Points
- Volunteering at events organized by the dormitory or the Resident Council.
- Reporting violations of dormitory rules.
- Serving as a role model in communal living, such as through environmental beautification or maintaining good order.

Merit Point Guidelines
- Accumulated Merit Points (10 points): An additional 10 points will be granted as a priority score for the next dormitory admission.
- Merit points may be awarded in other cases deemed appropriate by the dormitory director.
- Merit points previously awarded may be revoked if they are later found to have been obtained through misconduct or other improper means.
- Once 6 or more merit points have been accumulated, every 2 merit points may be used to offset 1 penalty point.
