🧭 Dream-Design Counseling

1. Purpose: A counseling program designed to help students plan their future goals from the time of admission and put them into practice. A faculty advisor is assigned to each student to provide continuous guidance and counseling.

2. Credits: 1 credit (Pass/Fail)

3. Operation and Course Requirements ① Counseling-oriented course ② Students must complete at least 2 semesters (2 courses) before graduation.

   • 1st Year, 1st Semester: Career Exploration and Dream-Design
   • 3rd Year, 2nd Semester: Employment, Entrepreneurship and Dream-Design

4. How to Apply for Dream-Design Counseling ① Visit the Kangwon National University website (https://www.kangwon.ac.kr) ② Click “K-Cloud” at the top of the website

   

   ③ Log in (ID: Student ID / Initial Password: 6-digit date of birth, with additional app authentication)

   

   ④ Click “Dream-Design” at the bottom of the page.

   

   ⑤ Enter the details you wish to discuss, then click “Register.”

   

🖋️ Korean Proficiency Test

<aside>

• All international graduate students are required to take the Korean Proficiency Test administered by the Liberal Arts Education Center.
• Graduate students are required to take courses up to Korean III. (Exemption may be granted based on the test results.) </aside>

1. Test Schedule : Conducted twice within 14 days after the start of each semester (students may participate only once)

2. Test Contents : Korean reading, writing, and interview

   High	Korean III recommended (Students with TOPIK Level 6 may be exempted)	Exempt

4. Important Notes

   • After completing the first semester, students must take the Korean Proficiency Test again to determine the appropriate course level for the following semester or whether they qualify for an exemption.
   • International students in master's programs who completed Korean language courses during their undergraduate studies at Kangwon National University, and international students in doctoral programs who completed Korean language courses during their master's studies at Kangwon National University, may be exempted from the test.
   • International undergraduate students who wish to take Korean language courses may enroll in “Practical Korean for International Students” courses in the Liberal Arts Education curriculum.
